Parents will recieve a welcome pack containing policies, fees, contacts etc

All children in my care will be given a small laminated card to keep in their pocket at all times whilst in my care, this will detail my contact numbers, parents contact numbers and any allergies, in case of emergency or accident.

Car Seats - No child will be permitted to travel in my car without the correct car seat/restraint for their age and/or height.  I am happy to provide booster seats and stage 1 seats, but should your child require a high back booster seat or a baby seat I will ask you to provide these. 

All car seats have just been replaced from new (June 2009) to ensure I am offering the most up to date seats for safety and comfort.

All children will be provided with their own toothbrush, face cloth and towel to use whilst they are here.

I am happy to start your child off potty training, please provide lots of underwear!

I ask that parents provide nappies, formula and wipes.  I am happy to use cloth nappies.

Parents must also provide sun cream and any medication for their child.

I like parents to provide a spare change of clothes for their child and a pair of wellies!

I always enjoy catering for special occasions and religious festivals, so do please let me know!  We always celebrate childrens Birthday's whilst in my care!

I know many local childminders and work with them in the event I am sick or in an emergency, this is to ensure I can offer the best and most reliable service. I understand that if I am ill, the last thing parents need is a phone call to say I cannot have your child.  However, having this contingency plan ensures a backup childminder would be able to care for your child should this happen. You will be able to meet your backup childminder should you wish to.  All childminders are OFSTED registered.

I am happy to help with homework, as often it can be quite late by the time your child has got home and children may be too tired to do it in the evening. Please note this is still the main responsibility of parents to monitor and assist with homework, however I will help as and when I can.

I am also happy to attend any plays or sports days should you be unable to attend, this will be nice for children to see a familiar face in the audience and I like to show my support!

If you would like your child to do a particular class or activity and are unable to take them yourself, I am happy to try and fit this in for you.
